For the coming two weeks, there is a LOT for Troop 212 to do:

1) Luminaria
You have received emails from Mrs. Ault regarding Luminaria Assembly nights. If you are new to this process, and aren't sure what to do, please ask. But in brief, your scout should be signed up for either Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday for assembling Luminaria kits. NOTE THE TIME OF THE ASSEMBLY NIGHTS, arrive promptly, and be prepared for the weather.

There is also kit delivery on Saturday. Mrs. Ault has provided links to information on our website with more information, and how to prepare for these events.

2) District Recognition Night (see previous email)

3) Climbing Lock in
Patrol leaders should be about done putting together the list of scouts in their patrols who will be attending. It also includes confirmation of who is NOT attending. This list needs to be sent to Mr. Vasarhelyi. Remember scouts and parents, participation release from Triangle Rock Club needs to be completed ahead of time, in addition to our troop permission form.

4) Rechartering
Scouts planning to continue being active in the oncoming year need to complete their personal information page and pay Mr.Yeh your rechartering fees.
Adults without youth should also complete this personal information page
OA dues can be paid as well.
December 11 is the last meeting to make this happen

5) Volunteer Opportunity
St. Michael's Church has again asked Troop 212 to help them prepare for the Joshua Tree gift-giving for the needy. Help is needed setting up tables, and transferring presents from the Archangel Center to the Parish Center:
Saturday, December 14 at 9am. About an hour of service is anticipated to be earned with this project.

6) Ski Trip Sign up
While the trip is at the end of January, plans for the Ski Trip are underway. There will be a presentation on the trip on December 11, with commitment by scouts and parents (which means payment) on December 18. More details such as cost, travel times, sleeping arrangements will follow.
